Prime Day may be over but some of the best Prime Day gaming PC deals aren't actually at Amazon. Various retailers, including Best Buy and Newegg, have got their own summer deals running. Many of those sales are going all week, so although Amazon Prime Day is done for, we don't expect all the deals to vaporize.

With the intense competition between Nvidia's RTX 40-series, AMD's RDNA 3, and Intel's Arc GPUs, there are even more competitively priced gaming PCs available from various retailers this year. This three-way battle ensures a wide selection of inventory for customers looking for a bargain, and yes, there are RTX 40-series machines with healthy discounts.

We've seen RTX 4060 Ti gaming PCs down for less than $1,000. There are even discounts on RTX 4090-based machines. But while the graphics card is indeed the most important piece of the gaming PC puzzle in terms of raw frame rates, it's not the only thing to look out for.

Last-gen CPUs will still stand the test of time, but if you're looking at an Intel chip from the 11th Gen or lower, or an AMD Ryzen 3000-series CPU, you should be able to do better. Likewise you want at least 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Though, it must be said, the Prime Day SSD deals are so good that if a system checks all the boxes but comes with a 500GB drive you're probably still in sight of a bargain.

Throughout the entire sale period, we've been dedicated to scouring for the best discounts and continuously updating this page with the best gaming PC Prime Day deals we could find. Alternatively, if you're in the market for a laptop, don't miss out on exploring the best Amazon Prime Day laptop deals

When does Amazon Prime Day 2023 end?

Amazon Prime Day 2023 ran through to 11.59 pm PDT on Wednesday July 12. It's all done and dusted now. That's not the end of all deals, however, just those aimed specifically at Prime members. There are still a bunch of summer sales running until at least the end of the week at different retailers around the web.

Amazon Prime Day gaming PC deals

Ipason gaming desktop | AMD Ryzen 5 5600G | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 500GB NVMe SSD | $849.99

Ipason gaming desktop | AMD Ryzen 5 5600G | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 500GB NVMe SSD | $849.99 $489 at Newegg (save $360.99) plus a $25 gift card
You can game on this machine to a certain extent—the integrated Vega GPU on the Ryzen chip will certainly support 720p gaming at lower settings. But we're listing it here as a good base from which to add your own graphics card for a quick, powerful new gaming PC. The AMD CPU is a good six-core, 12-thread job, and the 16GB RAM will run everything you need. The 500GB SSD could be bigger, but that's an easy, cheap upgrade.

Price check: Walmart $499

HP Pavilion | Ryzen 3 5600G | AMD RX 5500 | 8GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $759.99

HP Pavilion | Ryzen 3 5600G | AMD RX 5500 | 8GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $759.99 $595.00 at Amazon (save $164.99)
Affordable gaming PCs are tough to find, and sometimes it is necessary to go back to older generations of hardware to hit a tight budget. But the eight-thread Ryzen chip still has something to offer, and the RX 5500 OEM GPU will deliver 1080p gaming performance around the same level as the current RX 6500 XT. For the money, it will be a decent baseline to start from.

CLX SET gaming desktop | AMD Ryzen 7 5700G | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | $769.99

CLX SET gaming desktop | AMD Ryzen 7 5700G | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | $769.99 $699.99 at Amazon (save $70)
While this doesn't come with a GPU, if you were to pick up this machine with its eight-core CPU, plenty of RAM, and lots of storage, you could buy a graphics card separately. I vote for the AMD Radeon RX 6700 10GB, which you can pick up at Best Buy for $280. Combine that with this machine, and you've got a really great mid-range gaming PC on the cheap.

Price check: Best Buy $709.99

Skytech Nebula | Intel Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 500GB SSD | $1,299.99

Skytech Nebula | Intel Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 500GB SSD | $1,299.99 $999.99 at Newegg (save $300)
At this point, who's going to buy a full-price Skytech gaming PC when they're pretty much guaranteed to be among the most discounted systems in any sale? I'm not complaining when you can bag a full RTX 4060 Ti gaming PC now for under $1,000. It's sporting a last-gen Intel Alder Lake chip, but it's still a six-core, 12-thread CPU of excellent gaming pedigree. The 500GB SSD feels a bit miserly in 2023, but that is one of the cheapest, and easiest upgrades you can make when you need a little more space.

Skytech Shadow | Ryzen 5 5600X | RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4 RAM | 1TB NVMe SSD | $1,167.99

Skytech Shadow | Ryzen 5 5600X | RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4 RAM | 1TB NVMe SSD | $1,167.99 $1,099.99 at Newegg (save $68)
Another banger for Skytech, with this smashing low-end combo that's technically not on sale. The company is keeping costs down with an affordable yet great-for-gaming, Ryzen 5 5600X processor. Paired with the RTX 4060 Ti, you shouldn't have trouble at 1080p or 1440p. And I've no complaints about that price, even regarding supporting components.

ABS Stratos Aqua | Intel Core i5 13400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB PCIe SSD | $1,499.99

ABS Stratos Aqua | Intel Core i5 13400F | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB PCIe SSD | $1,499.99 $1,199.99 at Newegg (save $300)
If you're after a great gaming PC deal, Prime Day is where it's at. The RTX 4060, RTX 4060 Ti, and RTX 4070 cards have delivered some great value machines at a variety of price points. And this ABS Stratos Aqua system is right up there with the best of them. The CPU is the outstanding Core i5 13400F, a 16-thread budget monster chip, and the maligned RTX 4060 Ti can still deliver serious gaming performance. Then you get a full 1TB SSD and 16GB of decently quick DDR5 memory. A really solid package of PC gaming goodness.

Alienware Aurora R13 | Core i7 12700F | AMD RX 6700 XT | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $1,949.99

Alienware Aurora R13 | Core i7 12700F | AMD RX 6700 XT | 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD | $1,949.99 $1,199.99 at Dell (save $750)
It's a little more than we'd hope to pay now, but it's not bad for Alienware. Pair that Core i7 12700F and you've got yourself a decent last-gen machine that RX 6700 XT, and it shouldn't have trouble gaming or rendering at 1080p. You might want to nab a larger NVMe drive, however.

Yeyian Shoge | Intel Core i5 13400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 1TB PCIe SSD | $1,599

Yeyian Shoge | Intel Core i5 13400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 1TB PCIe SSD | $1,599 $1,289 at Newegg (save $310)
Normally we'd be talking about having to make do with some shoddy, 500GB SSD, or getting frustrated about having to compromise on 8GB of RAM to get such a healthy discount on a high-end gaming PC. But not here, this is a no-compromise rig that will deliver the sort of performance we'd have expected from an RTX 3080 system this time last year, and potentially more if you take DLSS 3 and Frame Generation into account. To get all this for less than $1,300 makes the Yeyian a great deal. It's a US-based company, has free shipping and there's not a lot else to worry about. Easy PC.

Intel NUC 13 Extreme | Barebones kit | Core i7 13700K | $1,580

Intel NUC 13 Extreme | Barebones kit | Core i7 13700K | $1,580 $1,349 at B&H (save $231)
This is a niche machine but one worth mentioning for its savings nonetheless. We reviewed the NUC 13 Extreme earlier this year and found it to be a great example of what can be done with a very small space. This is an extremely compact machine, but it does still offer plenty of room for a triple-slot graphics card. That's the thing, though, you need to provide your own GPU, SSD and RAM to get it up-and-running.

Skytech Chronos Gaming PC | Intel Core i7 12700F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 1TB SSD | 16GB RAM | $1,899.99

Skytech Chronos Gaming PC | Intel Core i7 12700F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 1TB SSD | 16GB RAM | $1,899.99 $1,599.99 at Amazon (save $300)
This is a Prime exclusive deal, meaning you won't be able to nab it unless you fork over a monthly tithe to Uncle Bezos, but it's a good price on a great machine for those who meet its requirements. Boasting an RTX 4070, this is one of the better deals on the mid-tier of the latest generation of cards I've seen this Prime season, and the rest of its specs are nothing to sneeze at either. Only thing to consider is that this isn't the best price we've seen it going for this Prime Day, which was over $100 cheaper.

Skytech Azure Gaming PC | Ryzen 5 7600X  | RTX 4070 Ti | 1TB SSD | 32GB DDR5-5200 | $2,099.99

Skytech Azure Gaming PC | Ryzen 5 7600X  | RTX 4070 Ti | 1TB SSD | 32GB DDR5-5200 | $2,099.99 $1,649.99 at Newegg (save $450)
Here's an RTX 40-series-powered PC on sale that doesn't skimp on RAM. This Skytech Azure has a Ryzen 5 7600X CPU with an RTX 4070 Ti GPU backing it up, alongside 32GB of DDR5-5200 RAM. You're giving yourself some really good performance for less than two grand. And you could dip your toes into some 4K gaming.

Skytech Chronos Gaming PC | Intel Core i7 12700F | Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti | 1TB SSD | 16GB RAM | $2,099.99

Skytech Chronos Gaming PC | Intel Core i7 12700F | Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti | 1TB SSD | 16GB RAM | $2,099.99 $1,799.99 at Newegg (save $300)
Here's a deal on an actual RTX 40-series-powered PC. And they said it couldn't be done. This PC comes with Nvidia's RTX 4070 Ti, which is a mighty 4K beast powered by the Ada Lovelace architecture. It's ultimately a pricey card, deal or no deal, and that's reflected in the price tag before you today, but for the performance, we can just about make peace with $1,800.

Price check: Electronic Express $1,999.99

Skytech Gaming Azure 2 | Core i7 12700F | RTX 4070 Ti | 1TB NVMe SSD | 16GB DDR4-3200 | $1,999.99

Skytech Gaming Azure 2 | Core i7 12700F | RTX 4070 Ti | 1TB NVMe SSD | 16GB DDR4-3200 | $1,999.99 $1,799.99 at Best Buy (save $200)
Pick your poison: there's the Skytech machine above or this one for the same price. With pretty much identical specs it depends on your choice of retailer and which you like the look of most, though I will say that this listing notes an 850W PSU rather than the 650W one in the Chronos. That's maybe enough to swing it to the Azure.

CyberpowerPC Gamer Master | Ryzen 7 7700X | RX 7900 XT | 16GB DDR5 RAM | 1TB PCIe SSD | $2,019.99

CyberpowerPC Gamer Master | Ryzen 7 7700X | RX 7900 XT | 16GB DDR5 RAM | 1TB PCIe SSD | $2,019.99 $1,899.99 at Adorama (save $120)
Not technically a deal, and not necessarily as great a pricing as you could get a PC with Nvidia's competing RTX 4070 Ti for. But as an all-AMD gaming PC, it's worth a look, particularly with that nice, large PCIe drive and DDR5 RAM.

Price check: Amazon $2,089.99 | Newegg $1,970.99

Gaming RDY IWRG209 | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4070 Ti | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 2TB NVMe SSD | $2,449

Gaming RDY IWRG209 | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4070 Ti | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 2TB NVMe SSD | $2,449 $1,999 at iBuyPower (save $450)
Smashing it with this beefed up spec, iBuyPower brings together all the things you need for gaming and more. This thing will not only hit high frame rates at 4K, it will keep you running smooth should you chose to use it as a workstation, too. Two terabytes is more than enough storage to keep all your AAA games downloaded, and topped with a tasty lump of speedy DDR5 RAM, that's money well spent if you ask me.

iBuyPower Slate HAKO | Core i9 13900KF | RTX 4070 Ti | 32GB DDR5-5200 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $2,349.99

iBuyPower Slate HAKO | Core i9 13900KF | RTX 4070 Ti | 32GB DDR5-5200 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $2,349.99 $2,049.99 at B&H (save $300)
If you don't want to sacrifice your CPU and RAM to get a better deal on an RTX 4070 Ti-powered PC, this iBuyPower machine might be for you. It's kitted out with some serious specs for content creation as well as gaming, so shouldn't break a sweat with Premiere Pro or After Effects running full bore.

Skytech Chronos | Intel Core i7 12700F | RX 7900 XTX | 1TB NVMe SSD | 16GB RAM | $2,299.99

Skytech Chronos | Intel Core i7 12700F | RX 7900 XTX | 1TB NVMe SSD | 16GB RAM | $2,299.99 $2,099.99 at Newegg (save $200)
While you're going last-gen on the Intel CPU here, that's a rather beastly AMD GPU. It may not be a consistent RTX 4080 competitor, but it'll get the job done at 4K. Pair that with a nice chunk of storage, and you've got a decent gaming PC for the price.

Price check: Walmart $2,199.99

ABS Vortex Ruby | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4080 | 32GB DDR5 RAM | 2TB PCIe SSD | $2,599.99

ABS Vortex Ruby | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4080 | 32GB DDR5 RAM | 2TB PCIe SSD | $2,599.99 $2,349.99 at Newegg (save $250)
A pretty immense spec here for the price. That AMD CPU can hit 5.15GHz under full all-core loads and paired with the RTX 4080, and you'll experience some real GeForce. There is not much room for overclocking with that 750W PSU, but a 2TB NVMe drive and 36GB of DDR5 RAM means you won't need to upgrade for a while.

Price check: Amazon $2,349.99

Cyberpower PC Gamer Supreme | Core i7 13700KF | Nvidia RTX 4080 | 16GB DDR5 RAM | 2TB HDD + 1TB PCIe SSD | $2,514.74 at Walmart

Cyberpower PC Gamer Supreme | Core i7 13700KF | Nvidia RTX 4080 | 16GB DDR5 RAM | 2TB HDD + 1TB PCIe SSD | $2,514.74 at Walmart
A 13th Gen champ here with Nvidia's latest GPU offering, too. It's pricey, but considering it comes with not only a sweet GPU but DDR5 RAM and heaps of storage it's a decent high-end deal. Shame there's an HDD. Use it for backups and put another SSD in.
Price check: $2,544.18 at Newegg| Electronic Express $2,599

Alienware Aurora R15 | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4090 | 16GB DDR5-4800 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $3,999.99

Alienware Aurora R15 | Ryzen 7 7700X | RTX 4090 | 16GB DDR5-4800 | 1TB NVMe SSD | $3,999.99 $2,999.99 at Dell (save $1,000)
For an RTX 4090 machine, this isn't a bad price. Though you should note this is very much a machine for someone that wants to buy a PC as a single package and has little interest in upgrading it down the line. These PCs come with some non-standard parts. That said, it's an easy option with on-site support for a year included.

Cobratype | Core i9 13900KF | RTX 4090 | 32GB DDR5 | 2TB NVMe SSD | $3,379.99

Cobratype | Core i9 13900KF | RTX 4090 | 32GB DDR5 | 2TB NVMe SSD | $3,379.99 $3,249.99 at Newegg (save $130)
Cobratype isn't a brand of gaming PC I'm familiar with, but they have a decent set of ratings both on Newegg and in Google reviews. And the spec in question here is excellent, offering a supporting cast of components that look to give both the top-end Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU room to do their magic. Whether you're creating or gaming, this system should do the goods, and is the cheapest RTX 4090 machine I've found today.

Amazon Prime Day UK gaming PCs

Ultra 55 | Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | AMD Ryzen 5 5500 | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | £1,249

Ultra 55 | Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti | AMD Ryzen 5 5500 | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | £1,249 £879 at Cyberpower PC (save £370)
Combine MSI's RTX 3060 Ti with the Ryzen 5 5500, and while you may struggle at 4K, you can bet this is a great config for gaming at 1440p. It comes with a 1TB Solidigm P41 Plus NVMe SSD, too, so there is lots of storage to play around with, though it's not the speediest. 16GB of DDR4 RAM never goes amiss, either.

AlphaSync Diamond V2 | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3600 | Kingston 500GB Gen4 SSD | £999.99 at Ebuyer

AlphaSync Diamond V2 | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3600 | Kingston 500GB Gen4 SSD | £999.99 at Ebuyer
When we've been struggling to find RTX 3060 machines for less than a grand in recent times, it's great to find a genuine RTX 4060 Ti retailing for just £999.99 today. That 500GB SSD is a shame, but with prices of storage being so low, a 1TB upgrade would only take this machine just over the £1,000 mark anyways. And the rest of the spec, including the last-gen six-core, 12-thread AMD CPU, still stack up.

Horizon Thunder | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | Kingston 500GB SSD | £1,099.99 (£999.99 without Windows 11) at CCL

Horizon Thunder | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4-3200 | Kingston 500GB SSD | £1,099.99 (£999.99 without Windows 11) at CCL
RTX 3080 gaming performance in a full PC for less than £1,000? That was a fever dream this time last year, and yet here we have this RTX 4070-based rig offering exactly that. The last-gen AMD CPU and 500GB SSD are the compromise you have to swallow to hit this price point, but the 5600X is still a great 6-core CPU, and SSD upgrades are super cheap right now, too.

AlphaSync | Intel Core i5 11400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4 | 500GB SSD | £1,247.98

AlphaSync | Intel Core i5 11400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 | 16GB DDR4 | 500GB SSD | £1,247.98 £1,199.99 at Ebuyer (save $48)
With an old Intel CPU, and a weak 500GB SSD, this AlphaSync machine looks a little bit low spec... until you hit the graphics card. Sure, you need a little balance in your life, but that old 11th Gen CPU will keep the RTX 4070 supplied with data and deliver great gaming performance for the money. Upgrading the SSD is super easy, though if you find you want to do more productivity stuff, that CPU platform might hold you back. Me, well, I'm running an RTX 4090 on a 10th Gen chip, and you don't hear me complaining ;)

Horizon Lightning | Intel Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 1TB SSD | £1,599.99 at CCL (£1,499.99 without Windows 11)

Horizon Lightning | Intel Core i5 12400F | Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti | 16GB DDR4-3200 | 1TB SSD | £1,599.99 at CCL (£1,499.99 without Windows 11)
This is a great price for a new machine with an RTX 4070 Ti built into it. That's down to the last-gen and lower spec Core i5 Intel processor and DDR4 memory that the Horizon supports. Still, that chip will deliver great gaming performance, and there's a decent supporting spec to go along with it.

3XS SP4070TIR5 | RTX 4070 Ti | Ryzen 5 5600 | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | £1,599.98 at Scan

3XS SP4070TIR5 | RTX 4070 Ti | Ryzen 5 5600 | 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD | £1,599.98 at Scan
Stretching your budget a little can get you a PC with a current-gen graphics card, and while you'll have to compromise a little with an older CPU and DDR4 RAM, this is still a great high-end machine for the price. That's a 1TB Samsung 980 in there, too, which is still one of our favourite SSDs for gaming.

Chillblast Light Side Survivor |AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Nvidia RTX 4080 | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD | £2,993.99 (£2,893.99 without Windows 11) at CCL

Chillblast Light Side Survivor |AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Nvidia RTX 4080 | 32GB DDR5-5600 | 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD | £2,993.99 (£2,893.99 without Windows 11) at CCL
I'm a card carrying Star Wars nerd, so Chillblast's themed machine is very much in my wheelhouse, and there's a Dark Side equivalent for the same price, too. I'm also a big fan of the 7800X3D CPU from AMD, one I've called "the best gaming processor AMD has ever produced," and when paired with the RTX 4080 makes for an outstanding gaming combo. And, for once, the rest of the supporting components are good, too.
